Hand Signal Flash Cards

Use these flash cards to help you prepare for the exam.

Making the Cards

Card stock works better than paper.

Print 3 sheets, front and back. The documents are in PDF format.

Cut out 8 cards from each sheet.

1. Place one sheet in the printer tray.
2. Using the table below, click Signal Names 1.
3. Acrobat will open. Select Print. At the Print screen, to print in landscape, check Auto-Rotate and Center. Click Print.
4. Flip the sheet over, and place it back in the printer tray.
5. Print Hand Signals 1.
6. Check that the names on one side line up with the hand signals on the other side.
7. Repeat for sheets 2 and 3.
   
8. Cut out the cards.

Using the Cards

Stack the cards in a deck, signal names up. Read a signal name. Then give that signal. If you did it correctly, put that card at the bottom of the deck. If you did not, put that card in the middle of the deck so it comes up again sooner.
